We dined 1/3/15, party of 4. Reservation was for 6:30 pm. We left at almost 10. Upon initial entrance, there was only one other table seated and the average age was 75. (We are 40-somethings). Bar staff joked with us that the age group is "near dead." We sat at the bar waiting for the rest of our party to arrive. Cocktail menu is rather unimaginative. Food: escargot (a bit too much salt), salads (it's salad - certainly won't blow you away), black cod (outstanding), wagyu short rib (skip it), lamb chops (divine) and veal (buttery and delicious). Shockingly, they served stale French bread. I expected something warm and divine....didn't bother to try it when I touched it and realized it was room temp and hard as a rock. Service: severely lacking. For starters, when our party arrived the bar maid insisted upon carrying my drink to the table and wound up dumping it down the back of my dress! She was frantic about drying up the floor - but no one asked or offered me extra napkins to dry my hair and dress. Accidents do happen - but it is best to quietly apologize, offer the napkins and quickly move on. Making a show of apologizing draws unnecessary attention and makes guests feel uncomfortable. Other major service faux pas: clearing plates while others are still eating! Also noted: My husband and I shared a French press...they poured for him and left me an empty cup! This isn't a high-end, fine dining restaurant. If you are looking for a fine dining experience, I recommend trying Il Gabbiano in Miami. If you want a good meal in a casual environment with so-so service, I definitely recommend La Nouvelle Maison. For those who have commented that this is a restaurant fit for foodies, I beg to differ. Think Bistro. This is thousands of miles away from being Georges Blanc.

Service was good. Food was decent. However, this is not a French restaurant. It is an American restaurant with French names on the dishes. If you were forty years old when you went to your first American "French" restaurant in the seventies and enjoyed it, this place is for you and your crowd is here. Interesting wine list with several items out of the ordinary to interest me enough to not utilize the corkage fee for all the wine we had with our meal. If this is fine French dining, why is there a large TV in the bar? Maybe you could get away with it if the latest soccer match was playing or the Pétanque Championship.

Went to la nouvelle maison to test it out. It did not fail our test. We loved it and are rearranging our dinner plans for next week so we can return. The chocolate soufflé rivals le cirque! Great service and great food.

I wanted to start off with the mind set I had before dining at La Nouvelle Maison; I have lived in Boca Raton 25+ years and I had the great enjoyment of growing up and being able to dine at La Veal Maison, probably one of the greatest restaurants ever in Boca Raton. So I was really excited for a high end French restaurant to finally be back in Boca Raton. Honestly I am pretty surprised by the other reviews on here. From beginning to end my experience here was pretty top notch. We received attention right from entering through the door from the hostess and the manager. The decor and ambiance is very nice, the bar area was great. Even just to stop by for a drink would be great. Our waiters were very nice and knowledgeable and even recommended a lot of our dishes. We had sea bass and lamb chops, everything was very good. The highlights to the night for sure were the escargots and the cheese platter in between the apps and main dish. If your looking to enjoy a fine dining night or a special occasion, this is one of the better places to go.

One of my best restaurant experiences! From appetizer to dessert perfection! Service was excellent and prompt. I would highly recommend

Staff was nice and very efficient. Decor was clean and kind of austere. Did not feel like a French restaurant. No personality. The food was just weird. I love pate so I ordered it and it came in a cute little mason jar but it was more like a watery soupy version of pate with absolutely zero flavor. I had to salt that and it still had no flavor. Very strange I've never had runny soupy pate. My steak frites was just ok, but the butter never melted because it was too cold. My husband liked his chicken franchese (I didn't) but the veggies were so so. The desserts were just ok. I did like the cherries jubilee. Nothing was French except in name only. Just strange. I really love French food and wanted to try this but it falls short. It's almost like it's a faux French place- not really old school and not nouvelle either- more an Americanized French. I'll stick with the oldies but goodies who do French right.

Service 10/10. It was a quiet quiet Thursday night in the dead of the off season. Free valet included. Place is part of a hotel I believe? Food palette selection of ingredients so well thought out - every single thing was so perfected in taste. Healthy selections! I had the cod, she had the chicken francaise (their version of it) - we were both amazed. The crab martini appetizer was so fresh, chilled and delicious. The deserts were spectacular, I got the chocolate decant, amazing, she got the creme caramel, closer to a flan in some ways, also very very good. The restaurant atmosphere and decor was also clean, classy and welcoming.

Best French restaurant in South Florida. Service is great and the food is amazing. It's a bit pricey but it's definitely worth it for special occasions!

My husband has been wanting to try this restaurant for months and last week we decided to make a reservation. Very nice looking restaurant but not stuffy at all. We were seated at the time of our reservation which in Boca this is something that does not always happen. We had a 2 servers that were attentive but not smothering. We started with the steak tartar with caviar which was delicious and one of our favorites. We also had the escargot as our second favorite and it did not disappoint. I had the duck which was a very generous portion that I could not even finish. My husband had the Dover Sole which was delicious. The waiter suggested our desserts, my husband had the bananas forster souffle which he loved and I had a chocolate hazelnut mouse that was divine. Needless to say the meal was not cheap and we don't drink but worth every dime! Special occasion type of place but every Saturday night is a special occasion!!!! Well done!!
